What to do and see at Vesterbro
Vesterbro is known for many things, and there are a lot of things to do and see. Many tourist attractions are located at Vesterbro. Walk down Istedgade street from Copenhagen Central Station you can see the old Meatpacking District filled with cozy cafés, restaurants, shops, and galleries.

Tivoli
Tivoli, the famous amusement park in the middle of Copenhagen, is a must-do when you are in Copenhagen. Tivoli was founded in 1843, by Georg Carstensen. Enjoy the rides at Tivoli Gardens, relax in a park, and taste some traditional Danish food at Tivoli Food Hall. The park is best known for its wooden roller coaster, "Rutschebanen", or as some people call it, Bjergbanen (The Mountain Coaster), built in 1914. It is one of the world's oldest wooden roller coasters that's still working.

The Meatpacking District
The Meatpacking District is one of Copenhagen's hotspots, and it's where the city's coolest crowd gathers. Away from the trendy restaurants, takeout, and classy and underground bars, there are unique events held during the year, adding an exciting element to the already vivid atmosphere.

Carlsberg
Carlsberg is a Danish brewery and was founded in 1847 by J.C. Jacobsen. Carlsberg is one of the three most famous breweries in the world and has breweries in 35 countries. Carlsberg breweries can mostly be found in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia. In Denmark Carlsberg is one of biggest beer and soda brands. Carlsberg, Tuborg and Coca Cola. Everyday Carlsberg Group is selling 114 million bottles of beer.

ISTEDGADE
Istedgade is a street in central Copenhagen, and it is home to two social extremes. Istedgade is now known for it's many hotels, design stores, cafes, bars, restaurants and sexshops, but it is also a home for many drug addicts, alcoholics and homeless people.Here addicts can take drugs in supervised injection sites without fear of dying from an overdose, being robbed, or freezing to death. Another benefit is that needles in the area's alleys and basement stairwells are visibly less used. The injection locations are so popular that they bring drug users from all over the city, creating a street of drug
addicts.
